Validation
During the last 10 years more data has become available to validate the latest versions of the Program. Validation has been performed against small scale long flexible riser data. In general there is only a sparse amount of full scale riser data to validate against. Validation of the latest version of the Program, which has a particular emphasis on VIV suppression effects is available in OMAE 2011-49817 (Resvanis and Vandiver).
